What may be recorded

Like most websites, the hosting service may create technical logs when a page is requested. These can include an IP address, browser type, time of access and the page visited. They are used to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults.

If you call the telephone number shown on the site, your phone provider and mine may retain call information. Anything you choose to share during a call is provided directly by you.

Why I use that information

I use information only where needed to respond to you, provide the site, prevent misuse or meet a legal obligation. The usual lawful bases are legitimate interests in running a secure website and communicating with callers, and legal obligation where the law requires it.

Sharing and retention

Technical information may be processed by the services that host and protect this website. I do not sell personal information. Records are kept only for as long as needed for the purpose they were collected for, including resolving an enquiry, security and any legal or accounting requirements.

Cookies and links

The site does not intentionally set advertising cookies. A service provider may use strictly necessary technology to deliver or protect the site. Links and telephone services operated by others have their own privacy practices.

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct or erase your information, restrict or object to its use, and receive a portable copy. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
